Creative announced a consumer video card based on 3Dlabs VP500SE (which is based on the P10 design). They profile the card as being ideal for use with a digital camera. I guess it will be a direct concurrent for the Matrox Millennium P650 and 750; as those three cards do not focus on pure 3D speed (even if you look at their spec’s they are outperformed by ATI and NVIDIA), but on 2D quality. Featuring 10 bit DAC’s, both claim to have higher color precision. Although it’s a bit strange that Creative’s card doesn’t feature TV out compatibility…
