Consumers prefer Wi-Fi over Ethernet

According to a survey by In-Stat in USA consumers are more interested in Wi-Fi connections than the Ethernet equivalent. Among the 640 consumers who participated its was a relatively even outcome between the two technologies, but for the future Wi-Fi was the given choice. At the same time it is still computer networking most are thinking ofand In-Stat concluded that manufacturers will have to work a bit to get the consumers to understad the pros with Wi-Fi compatible home electronics. But it is convinced that that there is a market and that we will be there soon enough.
