Playstation 3 is truly superior when it comes to the graphics when we compare the two most recently launched consoles. The consoles sold out immediately and eBay was ‘flooded’ with them minutes later. GigaGamez now reports about how people who actually have a PS3 have changed their mind and instead wants to swap to a Wii
In another report found in a blog at Destructoid the author tells of an encounter with a Sony representative regarding the lock-up problems with the kiosk machines. The reply he received from the guy from Sony makes one wonder if arrogance is a requirement for employment;

“No. It doesn’t. We did that on purpose,/…/ We do that so that people won’t play it all day long,/…/. Specifically during Motorstorm, we made it freeze up a lot.”

The problem is that it’s not just the kiosks that lock up and then we have the totally irrelevant fact that good ventilation many times solves this.

News have been appearing a called Paradox that has managed to crack Sony’s and Blu-ray’s protection. Basically the entire launch list has supposedly been cracked. According to early sources these were not playable on today’s machines though. There was a similar situation with Xbox 360, but today you can play copied games through a firmware hack for the DVD player. MaxConsole now reports that Motorstorm, one of the games crackled by Paradox, is indeed playable.

IGN has also posted their choice for the Console of the year. The choice was based mainly on the hardware specifications at hand and we can’t really argue with the choice of Playstation 3 then. They thought that Wii’s lack of HDTV and DVD support made it a worse choice, despite the broad acceptance.
