Corsair is just as all the other major component manufacturers present at Computex in Taiwain and it has apparently displayed a new RAM cooler during the event, a so far unnamed product, as far as we know. The RAM cooler will be launched together with specially designed memory modules with heatsinks that fit into the RAM cooler’s attachment slot. If this means that you can’t use any other modules with Corsair’s RAM cooler is yet to be announced. The cooler uses three small fans, most likely 40mm, which is connected to the motherboard through a 3-pin connector which makes it possible to control the fans through software.

Corsair displayed the cooler at Computex by cooling a couple of DDR2-SDRAM modules working at 612MHz (1224MHz DDR) with 5-5-5-12 latencies. When and at what cost the cooler will become available remains to be seen, but we should be able to expect more information soon.
