Corsair launch the world’s fastest DDR1 and DDR2 memory at CeBIT

Corsair has sent out a message where it states that it will present the fastest memories on the market for both DDR1 and DDR2. The best configuration possible with these new memories are the 2GB dual channel kits named Corsair TWIN2X1024-8500 and Corsair TWINX2048-4400PRO. The first is a DDR2 kit where the modules are specified to work at impressive 1066MHz, while the DDR1 modules will work at 550MHz. These speeds are according to Corsair the highest you can find on the globe, alas we can’t find the specified latencies for these, a crucial part for optimal performance. It is pretty clear though that Corsair has managed to develop fiercely fast memory modules for both DDR1 and DDR2 platforms.
