Corsair has announced that it has been licensed with the Intel XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) specification. Corsair is the first company to receive this license and it applies to its three most high-end DDR3 modules (not surprising since XMP only applies to DDR3, and was established to speed up the establishment of DDR3). The three XMP-enabled modules are the Dominator TWIN3X2048-1800C7DFIN and the XMS3 DHX modules; TWIN3X4098-1600C7DHXIN and TWIN3X2048-1600C7DHXIN. All modules come with 7-7-7-20 timings, but the Dominators have a 200 MHz advantage over the 1,600 MHz XMS3 DHX modules.
