Corsair is now launching its most extreme memory module hitherto. It’s aptly named XMS PRO and is the absolutely hottest module that Corsair has produced as of yet. It will be released in four different exportations: TWINX1024-4000PRO, TWINX1024-3200C2PRO, CMX512-4000PRO and CMX512-3200C2PRO. The ones named 4000 have a frequency of 500MHz, though using higher timings than the 3200 that runs at 400MHz. The timings for the 500MHz modules are at 3-4-4-8 and 2-3-3 for the 400MHz ones. Even aesthetically, they are something refreshing with grooves for maximum heat radiation, and 18 small LEDs on each module. Apparently, the latter feature shows the usage of the memory bank in real-time. With a windowed chassis it should look good, and it’s definitely innovative.
