Dell 2007WFP is the seuqel to Dell’s very popular 20″ widescreen monitor 2005WFP, a mionitor that has been very successful. When Dell launched its new 30″ LCD monitor 3007WFP we received new information about an updated version of the precent top models 2405WFO and 2005WFP. It got even more fun when it introduced new and updated models of its 19″ and 17″ monitors. The monitors that most people were waiting for was 20″ and 24″ models though, now it seems that also these models will arrive in a new version soon. Now Dell 2007WFP has a appeared at Dell’s homepage, not in the store though. The fact that Dell is selling off the current models, 2005WFP and 2405WFP, tends for a launch of the updated series very soon.
According to the specifications that are listed at Dell’s homepage 2007WFP doesn’t seem to have been updated much, with only the contrast ratio as the specification that stands out. We can only hope that these will look a bit different when the monitor arrives, because 16ms for a 20″ widescreen display is quite poor for 2006. There is no information about any HDCP support for the new monitors, something that 3007WFP has, but we hope that Dell has considered that as well. Anyhow, we should see Dell’s new monitors arrive very soon, something we’re really looking forward to.
