Dell have now decided to discontinue making their MP3-players which are harddrive based, but as much as we’ve heard about them, it may not come as a big surprise. The fact that Apple totally dominates the market for harddrive based MP3-players are no news to anyone and Dell, despite their magnitude, hasn’t been able to change their position at all. Now they’ve decided to stop manufacturing their harddrive based MP3-players, but their flash based series, DJ Ditty, will still remain in stock. Whether their flash based players can stand up against iPod Shuffle/Nano and other competitors or not is yet to be seen.
