Dell on the verge of launching AMD based computers?

Dell has been selling AMD processor separately for a while, but it has stuck with only selling Intel based computers. Something it has been completely alone with doing on the market today. AMD has been taking the market by storm lately and has managed to earn the trust of almost every large PC builders, except for Dell then. Now it seems though that, believe it or not, Dell is about to fold. In a short article at Forbes they post information about Dell having discussions with its partners about making AMD based systems. If this becomes reality AMD has really been able to caught the golden calf of the industry and even if Dell most likely will remain fateful to Intel AMD has managed with something many though was impossible a few years back.
