Dell is the next PC builder getting ready to launch a ultraportable budget laptop. While no actual specifications were revealed, the computer will be made by Compal, world’s second largest laptop manufacturer, after Quanta.The budget laptop will hit the market in June, which is a bit later than some of the other recently announced low-end laptops, but still in time to arrive along with other Atom-based netbooks. Dell aims to ship 1-2 million budget laptops in 2008, but will consider shipping even more if demand is high.
