Dell XPS 600 Renegade has already sold out, in just a week, despite an extreme price at almost $10,000, this was a way for Dell to show off what it really can do. When the first rumors about Dell’s acquisition of Alienware arrived many claimed that this was because Dell couldn’t build real gaming systems by itself. Dell XPS 600 Renegade is suppose to be the answer to those accusations and that the system was launched at the same time as the Alienware purchase became official could mean it is trying to avoid any bitter comments about its knowledge about extreme machines. When talking to Legit Reviews they’ve now revealed that all Renegade cases were in fact hand-painted by wellknown artist Mike Lavallee and that this made the system highly limited, and at the same time very attractive.

It claims it didn’t want to launch a system hoping for great sales but simply to show what Dell can do for the gamers. At the same time it didn’t want to reveal how many systems it has sold.

“Since each chassis was hand painted, quantities were limited. We’re not sharing the actual number. It’s important to remember that through its engineering expertise and partnerships, Dell has engineered unprecedented performance. The Renegade is an excellent example of Dell’s ability to deliver cutting edge technologies such as dedicated physics and quad graphics. True to our heritage we are driving to make these high-end features more broadly available over time.”
