DFI recently launched a new motherboard for Intel’s Socket 775 platform and just like LANPARTY UT ICFX3200-T2R/G the new DFI LANPARTY UT NF680i LT SLI-T2R is for Intel’s Core 2 Duo family of processor. This one comes with NVIDIA’s new budget-oriented chipset 680i LT under the hood. The LT model of nForce 680i SLI uses a somewhat simpler cooling and comes with a limited memory support. Looking at the whole picture there isn’t much separating it from the other high-performance circuits though, perhaps a slightly worse overclocking potential.
DFI LANPARTY UT NF680i LT SLI-T2R comes with dual Gigabit network circuits, 8 channel HD audio with digital in/outputs, eight 3GB/s SATA ports, FireWire and much more. Detailed specifications for DFI’s new motherboard can be found at its website and right now we’re just hoping for a competitive price.
