Sony PSP has become one of the, if not the, most popular console to use with so called homebrew software. Homebrew is unsigned code and could be used to execute illegally copied software, but there is so much more than that you can do through homebrew. Sony is of course no fan of homebrew and constantly updates its PSP to prohibit this and at the same time the community is working on ways to downgrade the video game console to earlier versions, whereof version 1.50 is the most popular such when it comes to homebrew. Now they’ve managed to find a way to go from version 2.50/2.60 down to version 1.50. This program is still a beta and we strongly recommend that you read the forum thread over at qj.net before attempting this.
