Earlier we’ve reported about how Samsung, Hynix and Infineon has admitted and been convicted of using fixed prices, a tangle that was made quite a lot worse when Rambus decided to enter. A fourth company, Elpida Memory Inc. is still in the middle of its lawsuit, but has admitted to the same. The group of companies that have been sued also include Micron Technology Inc., Mosel-Vitelic Corp., Nanya Technology Corp., and NEC Electronics America Inc.. All are being accused of being a part of one of the largest cartels revealed and the case doesn’t even have a specified sum wanted for the damage they’ve caused through their actions. The accusing is 34 American states and it is all because of the damage the companies caused the American market.
