The DRAM prices have never been lower and many are those wondering when the trend will end. According to DRAMeXchange this will change during the second half of 2007 when the PC sales are expected to recover. During middle of the year it is counting on the prices reaching their all time low, which means that, that is when you should invest in those two extra gigabytes of RAM for Vista, where after the prices will start climbing again. The current prices are much lower than what was expected and the reason for this is the much skewed supply and demand.
This could lead to that the prices will climb higher than what most would be prepared to pay. There is a chance that DDR3 gets to cover up for some of the damage as it is more or less just enthusiasts that will buy these memories, not too mention the relatively low supply.
