Pentium M will have a great influence on future processor platforms from Intel. Neither exact specifications for Intel’s future Pentium M-based platforms has not been given, nor what platform is to be used. The Inquirer has now got hold of a picture of what should be a dual-motherboard for Pentium M-based processors. What is particularily interesting, besides of that there is no dual Pentium M-motherboards available today, is that the socket seems to be named 480. In other words the socket has one pin more than the current Pentium M-socket, 479. What this means exactly, is yet to be revealed.
