ECS is best known for its OEM products and it hasn’t really made much of a break for the retail and enthusiast market. Stories have been going around that this will change soon though and lack of ideas is certainly not an issue. A new graphics card package from ECS shows that it is keeping up with the trends, the cards are ready for water cooling. Unlike companies like BFG and eVGA, ECS has chosen to use mid-range products instead of the high-end, GeForce GTS 250.

ECS NGTS250-1GMU-W Hydra pack is a package with two GeForce GTS 250 graphics cards equipped with water blocks and ships with the Thermaltake-made BigWater 760i water cooling kit.

ECS has launched two different packages, where one has 512MB cards and the other 1GB cards. Except from the memory buffer the cards seem to be identical. The clock frequencies are the same as the reference for GeForce GTS 250, but with the rigorous cooling there should be plenty of room for improvement.

The prices are still in the dark, but since just the Thermaltake water cooling kit costs around $140 they will be a lot more expensive than just the graphics cards.
