EIZO Foris FS2331 is a monitor for the consumers that prefers games and multimedia. The monitor was presented last month, but is finally heading to stores around Europe and sales will start next month with a slightly retro design.
EIZO Foris FS2331 moves away from the traditional shapes with soft lines shiny finish. Instead it has used a more anglular and matte design that gives us flashbacks of the 90’s.
EIZO uses a VA panel (Vertical Alignment) that offers a dynamic contrast ratio at 10,000:1 and1920 x 1080 pixels native resolution. The monitor has a response time of 7ms (GtG) and two integrated speakers of 0.5 watt each. EIZO equips the monitor with DVI, dual HDMI, and D-Sub input.
With a price near 500€ it is a pricy monitor even if it is a VA panel. EIZO sells the EIZO EasyPIX calibration system to complement the monitor (I.e. not included), and recommends it to graphics designers and such, costing 190€.
