Elsa is the third manufacturer to launch a physiucs accelerator based on AGEIA’s PhysX chip. ASUS and BFG have both been supplying cards based on AGEIA’s PhysX circuit, but they will now be accompanied by Elsa and its Phynite X100 with the PCI interface and 128MB DDR3 memory. AGEIA’s 130nm PhysX processor is the heart of the card and to make the card useful from day one, Elsa ships the card with Cellfactor: Revolution, which is one of out of very few games that actually supports PhysX. The price hasn’t been revealed yet, but should be up to par with ASUS and BFG’s equivalents.
