EVGA has launched a graphics card that truly adopts NVIDIA’s belief in acceleration of physical effects using PhysX. EVGA Geforce GTX 275 CO-OP PhysX Edition namely has, not just a GeForce GTX 275 GPU for 3D acceleration, but also a less powerful GeForce GTS 250 GPU dedicated to PhysX. The card may not look special on a distance, but when the cooler comes off it’s a completely different story.
The card has 1280MB GDDR3 RAM where the GeForce GTX 275 GPU use a 448-bit memory bus, while the GeForce GTS 250 circuit has to settle for 192-bit bus. The clock frequencies are set to 2268MHz and 2200MHz.
The graphics circuits operate at 633MHz (275) and 733MHz (250), and together they will bring substantial performance improvements in games using advanced PhysX effects. Clearly displays by EVGA and its diagrams.
The price of the card is $349 and that includes a coupon for the PhysX game Batman: Arkham Asylum.
