Most of you probably remember EVGA Classified SR-2 which is still one of the most extreme motherboards we have seen. The board is based on server chipsets, but built to satisfy the most fastidious of enthusiasts with dual LGA1366 sockets offering up to 12 cores and 24 threads. The successor is coming, says EVGA.

EVGA Classified SR-2 use HPTX formfactor, which means it doesn’t fit inside any cases, and it has really high demands on the power supply since it houses two 6-core processors and overclocks them just as good as motherboards that only supports one processor. This means you need a power supply with lots of power connectors, but EVGA helped you there with a special edition 1200W PSU designed for SR-2.
