Fedora Core 6 was finally released last year after a number of delays had plagued the distribution and when you thought that the next version of Core would arrive relatively soon they announced that Core 6 would be the last. Core will namely be merged with Extras and become a larger, but also more flexible distribution, which except from the default desktop version with Gnome also will be available with KDE and as Fedora Server. An assortment very much similar to Ubuntu’s. This is far from all of the new with Fedora 7 though.
