Firefox 1.5 is in many ways a great improvement of Firefox 1.0. Mozilla wanted to improve the very fundamentals of its browsers with better rendering technology and security. What it didn’t put as much energy into was the browser’s features, something that Microsoft has caught up with with its beta version of IE7 that has inherited most of Firefox’s features. Mozilla has now announced that it will go for more and better features with Firefox 2.0 to stay one step ahead of Internet Explorer. Improved user interface, tabbed browsing and other new features are some of the things you can expect from Firefox 2.0 when it arrives during Q3 of 2006.
