Firefox 3.0 is far from ready to be launched and the list of features the new browser will sport hasn’t been finalized yet. Firefox 3.0 Alpha 2 arrived earlier this month and the final version is expected to bring an updated history and bookmark manager and support for offline web applications. This would for example make it possible to write and send mails while being offline. The thing that brings this feature down is perhaps that in today’s IT society many have broadband connections and is thus constantly connected, making this feature feel a bit 1999. However, the bookmark and history manager will be significantly updated with the coming version, something we haven’t seen for quite some time and is certainly looking forward to.
