Firefox is still a very popular web browser and the latest poll among american users shows that the open source browser has claimed more market shares from Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. WebSideStory is the company behind this survey while Firefox increased its share to 6.7 units IE dropped to 88.9 units. Firefox has doubled its userbase since November 2004 while IE forthe first time in 3 years is below 90 percent. But Firefox isn’t growing as fast as it used to, although the information varies from survey to survey. Source: eWeek
