Biostar appears to have launched a motherboard based on the Intel i848 chipset. This is a striped down version of their i875/i865, where the dual channel memory controller was omitted. Therefore, the i848 chipset is meant as a budget solution. Although Intel did think about the future: the upcoming Prescott is supported.
The Biostar solution, called P4TSP-D2, has the usual stuff like 8*USB 2.0, LAN, SATA, IDE and 6 channel audio (all of them are standard stuff for the ICH5 southbridge); No raid, Firewire or other fancy things were included to keep the price low.
