HardOCP has recently published its first test of the ABIT IC7-MAX3, something it’s amongst the few to have done. We have already mentioned this motherboard a lot, and finally the tests have started to drop in.
For those unaware, the IC7-MAX3 is based on Intel’s 875P chipset for the Pentium 4. What is very revolutionary about this board is that ABIT’s patented graphics card cooling OTES for the first time has been introduced even on a motherboard.
The testers on HardOCP seem to be terribly impressed by the IC7-MAX3 and it undoubtedly seems as if our expectations has not been for nothing.
We also await an IC7-MAX3 in our own testlab, as Christopher Zell now has succeeded in importing one from Thailand after spending some time in the hospital at the same location. So expect MAX3 reports directly from our own testlab!
Until then, you can more about the HardOCP test here.
