Finns det någon som vet om man kan spela vcd på samsung 909 genom att knappa in någon kod???
Som man kan med LG dvd´n??
Eller e man såld nu????

Men vafan ta och regionsfria den , har också en 909 och min e regionsfri. Kostar bara en femhundring typ att fixa det

Då tjänar man i längden att köpa en ny DVD som klarar av vanliga skivor.
Så det finns alltså ingen som vet något speciellt om denna Samsung 909 DVD?
Måste ju kunna att programera om den på nått sätt, tycker man...

vcd behöver du igen region byte ,skall gå om din spelare stjöder vcd ,som den nog gör ,kolla i handboken eller så gör du vcd -skivan fel.

sök din spelare där i dvd players Compatibility list

Har själv en philips och där funkar alla filmer jag har men inte på hans..

This DVD will play VCD's I found on almost any media burned at 1x rate. I found that Verbatim did not work though. Now then VCDHelp.com used to have an SVCD sample of Chicken Run which used DiscJuggler to burn, THAT sample worked. The sample that is there now (Easy Cd Creator version) will not burn for starters and I have not test the nero versions yet. When I make an SVCD using NERO and an Mpeg2 mpeg I find that when I put it in the DVD player all I get is a black screen.
XVCD's do in fact play, though they play choppy and are unwatchable so i report them as NO. My next test are XSVCD's. I found that miniDVD's would also not play. As for the SVCD subtitles and such, I haven't a clue.
If you are looking for a good, cheep DVD player that will play VCD's, this is a good one. Otherwise keep lookin.

I found that VCD 1.1 will only play sparatically, sometimes it will sometimes it wont. I found that all trys with VCD 2.0 proved successful when burned on any media at 1x. I also found that I could burn VCD 2.0 at 10x on LIGHT coloured media and they would play fine, I use no name brands without issues.

Ok boys i found a CD-RW media that work fine on my player! Is a CD-RW 74Min from Lead Data called Silver Blue Professionale. Now works in VideoCD 2.0 too and also still image compilation with WinOnCd working good! So i test for XVCD and SVCD sooon!
,my player play VCD's burned on any RW-disks I've tested and on Traxdata Silver & Fujifilm Silver CD-R disks. It also should play SVCD but I haven't tried. Ans DVCD but I really don't know what they are I used Easy CD Creator 4 Deluxe...

Technical specs talks about compatibility with VideoCD 2.0 but didn't work on my player, only old release of Nero with any CD-R works...i tryed to make a still images comilation (like photoCD) using VCD specs but didn't work!

Sorry But I have to say that my dvd 909 do not work with cd-r from Silverblue even burned at speed 1 and with Nero

It can play VCDs on CD-R, burned at single speed using NERO or ADAPTEC Easy CD-Creator 4.0. Don't try any faster speed, because samsung will not accept the disc. I tried ACER, NASHUA and no-name CD-R without any problems.

Ok people i found some more CD-R working on my 909. Samsung CDR SILVER 74" work so fine!! I burn a VCD from the presentation VHS of my company at 4X and did it work good.But i do more....i burn an hybrid VCD with tracks for VCD/DVD player and info for PC like AVIs / PDF and autostart!

I get good results with acer CDR,s.Burned at one speed with Adaptec easy cd-creator 4.0You don't get the digitized images with this brand. Maybe because they are all blue.SVCD didn't work at all. It recognizes the cdr and starts playing only no sound and vision.
