Jag har nyligen inhandlat en bredbandsrouter och nu kan inte folk skicka till mig via icq... Vilka portar används av icq för det så att man kan öppna dem när folk ska skicka saker till en???

Firewall Settings Requirements:
For ICQ to successfully work behind a firewall the following system configurations must be set by the System Administrator for the systems network.
Client to server Communication:
This is done via port 5190 TCP to login.icq.com (please note- allow a bi-directional connection to the port for login.icq.com and not any specific IP address, since it stands for more than one IP address).
Client to client communication:
Client to client connection is done using the TCP protocol, using port range 1024-65535. This means that the client needs an open listening port within the mentioned range-- 1024-65535.

Jag kör på win 2000 på båda datorerna
Låter ena datorn stå som router till den här
Måste man öppna portarna eller nått??

DiDi måste alltså forwarda alla portar över spannet 1024-65535 till den dator han kör ICQ på. Inte att rekommendera om han nu inte kör med firewall på sin ICQ-dator.

Jag kör med en hårdvaru router... Lite störigt eftersom att jag kan skicka till folk men inte ta emot...
Hade ju inte riktigt tänkt att öppna alla icke reserverade portar...
Undrar om man inte kan kombinera så att man kör både hårdvaru och mjukvaru firewall...???

Men jag får det inte att funka. Testat att forwarda alla portar i en range som jag satte (typ port 4500-4600).
"Click on the radio button Not using a proxy. Incoming ports are needed only for communication with users that are behind a firewall.
Use dynamically allocated port numbers (default).
Clicks on radio button Use the following TCP listen port for incoming event. Insert the port numbers From to To for the port to set your port range. "
