Moderkortstillverkaren DFI har på senare år varit trogna entusiasterna och deras LAN Party-serie har fått många anhängare. Men som de flesta entusiastmoderkort har merparten av modellerna även haft ganska saftiga prislappar. Det hoppas DFI nu ändra på när man lanserar sitt Blood Iron P45-T2(R)S Elite moderkort som med Intels P45 styrkrets ska vara ett mycket kapabelt överklockarkort med en prislapp runt 1000-lappen. Moderkortet stödjer Intels Core 2-processorer och ska enligt DFI kunna nå 600MHz processorbuss.
