OCZ har nu lanserat en ny serie av Solid State Drives under namnet Summit. OCZ senaste alster skiljer sig från minnestillverkarens tidigare modeller genom att den rakt igenom använder sig av Samsung-komponenter. Både minneskontroller och flashminneschipen är tillverkade av Samsung. Med 128MB cache har OCZ Summit likvärdiga specifikationer med andra Samsung-baserade enheter som Corsair P256 och dessa har även visat sig prestera riktigt bra. OCZ leverar sin Summit serie i olika storlekar, från 60GB upp till 120GB samt toppmodellen på 250GB. De två senare har betydligt bättre bibehållen skrivhastighet än OCZ Vertex så vi kan nog förvänta oss ett pris i de trakterna.
