Western Digital har lanserat sin senaste modell av den externa hårddisken My Book Studio Edition II. Med plats för två stycken 3,5-tums hårddiskar har den senaste modellen en maximal lagringskapacitet på imponerande 4TB genom att använda sig av WDs senaste 2TB hårddiskar. Enheten använder sig av fyra olika datagränssnitt, eSATA, FireWire 800, FireWire 400 samt USB 2.0. Det och stöd för Apples Time Machine säkerhetskopieringsteknik gör att My Book är ett perfekt tillbehör speciellt för Mac-ägare, något även designen skvallrar om. Med en RAID 0-konfiguration ser man även till att prestandan är på topp, prislappen ligger på drygt 6000 kronor.

WD Unveils 4 TB My Book Studio Edition II External Hard Drive
WD, the world's leader in external storage solutions, today introduced its new 4 terabyte capacity My Book Studio Edition II dual-drive storage systems, which are designed to seamlessly work with Mac computers and provide an ideal blend of high performance and power conservation. Compatible with Apple Time Machine automatic backup feature and formatted for Mac computers, the new 4 TB My Book Studio Edition II external storage system's dual-drive RAID 0 configuration and high-speed interfaces deliver high performance for creative professionals, workgroups, small offices and anyone looking for fast data transfer.
