Fractal Design had updated its already popular compuer case. The Swedish manufacturer has launched the third version of the miditower case Define. Fractal Design Define R3 comes in four differen colors and optimized cable management, airflow and other goodies.
Define R3 builds on the same base design as the praised siblings, but Fractal Design has made several improvements after listening to the feedback given by the users.
Define R3 has a scratch-resistant color theme and an optimized interior. It has improved the airflow around the fans, used more efficient noise killing material, larger holes for the motherboard plate for installing the cooling, an evolved cable management system and other minor improvements.
Define R3 has the same external measurements as R2 and is close to identical aesthetically speaking. Fractal Design has also revised the fans and put in slightly more powerful models in the R3 model, which means that the integrated fan controller will come to good use.
