Fujitsu makes S3’s 90nm Chrome GPU

S3 Chrome is a new series of graphic circuits by S3 Graphics and the new series will be made with 90nm technology to reach S3’s goal of the best performance per watt on the market. Now S3 has found a manufacturing partner for its new graphic circuits and it will be Fujitsu who will contribute with its 90nm manufacturing process, which according to S3 is much more efficient than other “regular” 90nm manufacturing processes. S3 isn’t going out to become the leading performing brand but low power consumption at relatively high performance. We can only hope that S3 and Fujitsu can start up a good cooperation and that we will see the new circuits within a near future.
