On December 26th Fujitsu will announce a new notebook in Japan but it is not your run of the mill notebook. LifeBook N7010 is the name of the 16″ portable with 1366×768 pixel resolution, which is pretty much what every other laptop also have. However, N7010 one more display. Fujitsu has fitted the notebook with a small 4″ LCD touchdisplay with 480×272 pixel resolution that will be used for navigation and program handling.
LifeBook N7010 does look a bit thick, but there is a good reason for it. Beside the additional LCD Fujitsu has also supplied the system with water cooling. There are no details surrounding the water cooling, but the Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4GHz) processor should be running quite cool from this unorthodox internal notebook cooling.
When you’ve fitted it with everything from regular performance components to Blu-ray player and digital TV tuner it gets crowded inside the casing. You’re wallet won’t be after buying this one though, the price is expected to be around 250,000 YEN (2,000€). When and if LifeBook N7010 will reach outside of Asia is unknown at this time.
