AMD will roll out one new processor after another this summer. Besides a bunch of new processors and APUs for the desktop market it will also release products for the mobile market. The star of the mobile collection builds on the Llano architecture and will be named Fusion A8-3530MX.
Fusion A8-3530MX will become AMD’s most powerful mobile offering this year and will sport four K10.5 CPU cores and an integrated graphics processor with 400 stream processors. The Llano based APU will run the CPU cores at 1.9 GHz during regular load and 2.6GHz through Turbo Core 2.0. The circuit comes with 4MB cache and support for up to 1600 MHz DDR3, but can also use more efficient DDR3L.
The graphics portion is named Radeon HD 6620G, will sport 128-bit memory bus and operate at 444 MHz. The circuit builds on the GPU architecture found in discrete graphics cards but also third generation video processor with support for Blu-Ray 3D.
Through AMD’s new Hybrid CrossFireX technology the integrated graphics processor will also be able connect to a discrete graphics circuits in notebooks to improve performance in 3D games and other applications.
System builders can choose between AMD A60M and AMD A70M chipsets, where the latter has a 4-way USB 3.0 controller. The launch of AMD’s new mobile Sabine platform is slated for June, and Fusion A8-3530MX will according to the latest reports be AMD’s flagship for 2011.
