G.Skill is one of the first memory manufacturer to launch 2GB memory modules for the retail market. It has namely announced its new G.Skill DDR2-800 CL6 and DDR2-667 CL5 modules which have capacities at 2GB each . A dual channel kit with two modules will thus give you 4GB all in all, which would be a real nice combo with the 64-bit version of Windows Vista which requires a whole lot of RAM. More 2GB memory modules are certainly coming and will become a lot more common next year and G.Skill seems to be up to pace with the current flow on the market. Unfortunately we have no information regarding the price of G.Skill’s new memory modules, but below are the complete specifications for the new modules.
