NVIDIA‘s launch of the G80 architecture has left little to complain about. The cards of the new GeForce 8800 series performs really well and the architecture is completely new. Despite all of this the interest in high-end graphics cards remains the same and the reason is quite simple; the high prices. According to DigiTimes, many are waiting for NVIDIA’s coming mid-range and low-end cards based on the G80 architecture, NVIDIA G84 and G86 are suppose to be the code-names of these. Through the launch of these circuits it hopes to create a broader range of DX10-capable graphics cards, but this is not expected to happen until January/February of next year.
