Windows Vista may be the future of gaming but so far the experience seems to be far from enlightening when gaming with Microsoft’s latest operating system. Even if many games, especially the newer and more popular games, works well there are certainly other that have problems. Reports have been coming in from users that are complaining about slow and/or crashing games in Windows Vista. As usual its FPS games that suffers the most as this where framerate matters the most. Microsoft claims to have tested more than 1000 popular games from the last five years with Windows Vista and been successful doing so.
Most discussions revolve around the matter whether its Microsoft and Windows Vista or the graphics card manufacturers and their drivers which is the culprit. One thing is for certain, if you’re a serious gamer you should investigate the compatibility of your favorite games both once and twice before moving on to Windows Vista.
