NVIDIA has released their two latest monster cards at what they call GeForce LAN. At the first GeForce LAN NVIDIA showed the world their 6800 card, at the second they showed us the 7800. Now the Inquirer has published the date of the next LAN where the 8800 card probably is going to be introduced to the public, namely November 7-8. We’ve seen pictures of what is believed to be GeForce 8800 and we know it’s going use a unified shader architecture as well as using a scalable core where the shader processing units work at tremendously high speeds while the core work at a more sensible speed. The number of shaders seems to have more than doubled since the last generation and it also seems like we’re just a month away from getting to know the real thing.
