NVIDIA already has two of the fastest graphics cards on the market with the top models GeForce GTX 580 and GeForce GTX 570. We have known for some time that there will be more models of the GeForce GTX 500 series and now sources at graphics card makers say that GeForce GTX 560 will launch on January 25th, 2011.
GeForce GTX 560 will, just like it siblings, use NVIDIA’s GF110 GPU and even if our sources could not confirm the previous specifications much points to that the number of CUDA cores will be reduced to 384. The clock frequencies has been said to land at 820 MHz GPU and 3600 MHz memory, but this is unconfirmed with just a month to go.

If NVIDIA decides to use the rumored specifications the card will become an interesting addition the already stable line-up and it will become a threat to AMD Radeon HD 6950 that has a lot of free room today in its price/performance segment. Count on a price tag around 260€ when it arrives around the end of next month.
