Gigabyte has posted information at its motherboard blog Gigabyte Tech Daily about a new mini-ITX motherboard. The motherboard that is built around the Intel H55 chipset will support Intel’s LGA 1156 processors. That should be enough performance for most and for such a small package it is really impressive. Gigabyte seems to have big plans for the functionality too, including USB 3.0.

Even if it wasn’t confirmed by the blog entry itself, we can clearly see the USB3 lettering in the product name. No launch date was given, butGA-H55N-USB3 is said to come soon.

The only thing we miss is more SATA ports, four is just not enough to make it a potential choice for a storage server.
