Google.com blocked in China

China is truly one of the mroe controversial when it comes to the freedom of speech and we have at numerous occasions reported about the country’s drastic methods to block pornography and other “not wanted” information on the Internet. Now it has once against stun the world as it has according to reports blocked one of the world’s lagrest sites, namely Google.com. The reason for Chinese authorities to block the site nationwide is that they think that Google is violating China’s censoring laws and can be used to find forbidden information on the Internet. China’s own version of the search engine, Google.cn, is still available as it is considerably more limited in its searches to fit China’s censoring.
