Google continues to expand it presence on the software market and specificly in searching the Internet. Some have pointed out that lately Google has been focusing on a lot more than just searching the Internet and its search enginge, but now that it launches four new product services it is pretty clear on that these are services that are suppose to help and expand the use of its search engine.
Google Desktop 4 is a further development of Google’s desktop software that makes it possible to integrate search functions and other program onto your desktop.
Google Co-op is a service that rely on the user’s cooperation where you can help by adding links to categories to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.
Google Notebook is the only service that is currently not available and will be a personal browser tool that let’s you copy links, texts and pictures that you can then enter into an online-based notebook, which you later on can share with friends and family.
Google Trends is a further development of Google Zeitgeist that makes it possible to walk through years of searches at Google to see how trends and similar have changed over the years.
Google continues to impress and it gets harder and harder to see how it would be able to lose its postition on the market.
