GPU-Z and HWiNFO32 adds support for the GeForce GTX 400-series

NVIDIA’s new GeForce GTX 400-series or the Fermi has just landed and in its wake, a trail of software updates follow. The new series, being aimed at the enthusiast and gamer-market, is now recognizable in most hardware information softwares out there. The very popular video card information application called GPU-Z has just reached version 0.4.0 with one of the bigger news in the new release being of course GeForce GTX 470/480 support. But other functionality has also been added, such as voltage monitoring on AMD’s HD5000-series from manufacturer MSI.

– Added support for Intel Pineview

– Fixed double memory clock reading on NVIDIA w/ GDDR5 (real clock is now displayed)

– Fixed rounding errors in RV7xx and Evergreen fan monitoring code

– Added tooltip translations for Albanian and Chinese Traditional

– Memory bandwidth calculation uses GB now instead of GiB”

At the same time, REALiX has updated its HWiNFO32 application to version 3.45 and is now also capable of recognizing NVIDIA’s new series, alongside with all the other cards it’s able to handle.
