G.Skill verkar inte vara rädda för att pressa minnesklockfrekvenserna på Intels nya Core i7-plattform. Man har nu lanserat en ny trippelkanals minnesserie som under namnet Perfect Storm ska ge optimal prestanda med Core i7 processorer och X58 moderkort. Minnesmodulerna är specificerade till hela 2000MHz med 7-8-7 latenser, klockfrekvenser som bara ett fåtal minnen klarar av med säkra spänningar. G.Skill avslöjar inte vilken spänning minnena kräver för att jobba i 2000MHz, men vi tror inte man vågar gå över 1.65V i detta fallet.
