HDMI, what it is and how it works

HDMI or High-Definition Multimedia Interface is the successor to today’s digital DVI interface. As many of you might know HDMI is very similar to DVI with its digital signal handling, but at the same they are different because HDMI can carry both video and sound singals. Something DVI can’t. But that’s pretty much all most people know about the new digital interface that is starting to take over, but over at Hardware Secrets they’ve published an article about HDMI that will bring everyone up to speed.
