Most LCD monitors of today measure between 20-24″, but when Hewlett-Packard launched its latest model it was a bit bigger than that. HP 2709m is 27″ diagonally and comes with the 16:9 format and 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The monitor offers 5ms response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio, which can be increased up to 30,000:1 with dynamic contrast. The monitor has 2W speakers and 400 nits brightness.
The monitor comes with dual HDMI inputs, one DVI-I input and the classic d-sub/VGA input. The specifications look solid and costing around $500 it could be an interesting option for those looking for a big and affordable monitor, and don’t mind the bit odd design.
