We reported a while back about how HP was gaining fast on Dell and at the same time we’ve been hearing reports of Dell peeking at the possibilities of launching systems with Linux instead of Windows, but instead we’ve only come the point of where we can buy computers without an operating system, which is still pretty darn OK though. However, it seems that HP may launch Linux PCs before Dell does. CRN namely reports that HP is currently working on a number of special orders for computers with Linux installed and according to HP this may very well lead to it doing what Dell hasn’t dared.
